THE LOVE INC MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Love In the Name of Christ (Love INC) is to mobilize the Church to transform lives and communities In the Name of Christ.

 A Short history

 Love INC of Springville, NY officially opened it's doors on March 18th, 1996 with a few volunteers and a telephone.  The clearinghouse took information and made referrals.  There were 11 partner churches at the time and Margaret Ireland was the first Program Director. 

The offices were housed in space donated by the Joylan Theatre.  This office space eventually tripled and then moved to the second floor.

In 1999, Jan Mattison, then Vice-President of the Love INC board, became Executive Director.  As the volunteer staff grew, so did the paid staff, currently at four. 

In 2005, the 10th year of Love INC's ministry to the Springville area, a new initiative called IMAGE was undertaken.  It is a program to help people see their value in the eyes of God.

In 2008, the Love INC office was asked by the constituents of the Warm the Children, Salvation Army, and Toys for Tots programs to facilitate these services in our area.

Love INC annual holds a Banquet and Theme Basket Auction, a Concert for Love (featuring local church talent), as well as prayer meetings and other community events.

Love INC looks forward to the future of serving Christ and the Love INC Member Churches in the Springville area.
